Engaging Youth to Understand Climate
The GLOBE Student Climate Research Campaign (SCRC) engages students from around the world in the process of investigating and researching their local climate and sharing their findings globally.
SCRC is comprised of learning activities, events, and research investigations. The SCRC focuses on improving students' understanding of climate and how it differs from weather and guides them through the process of climate research using GLOBE materials and protocols. The SCRC continues GLOBE's tradition of inquiry-based, hands-on science and promotes international collaborations between students and with scientists.
The SCRC has officially launched in September 2011 and will conclude June 2013.
SCRC in Europe
GLOBE Europe & Eurasia organizes its own activities like a Sustainability Olympiad where students show their findings and cooperates with Eurasian research institutes.
