A group of schools from 8 countries in the region got together in a preparatory meeting in Italy from 25 till 29 November 2010. Here they prepared their plans for a joint project within the GLOBE Student Climate Research Campaign. One of the key projects within this proposal is the GLOBE Europe & Eurasia Youth Summit that will take place in the Netherlands.
Schools that will join the eventual EU proposal are coming from 9 countries: Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Netherlands, Norway and Spain.
All other schools in the region are also able to join the Climate Research Campaign on their own expense.
